South facing house good or bad (South facing house myths)
South facing houses is a less preferable option among people. Because the God of Death Lord Yama lives in the South Directions in the 5th pada. However, If you have a South Facing Plot then you do not need to worry. Because it has been found many times that south-facing homes also provide fame, prosperity, and relaxation. But you have to manage it by keeping the main entrance of the house from 1st pada to 4th pada. Which starts from the Southeast direction and ends in the Exact South Direction.
By doing this, South facing house myths regarding its preference can be managed by following Vastu principles. if we talk about the showing I shape South facing floor plan in the above image, you may notice we applied the same rule in the attached drawing.

Staircase Vastu for south facing house
We have planned a staircase in the Southeast direction of the house. As we said, in short sizes floor plan it is very hard to make a perfect Vastu plan. That is why we reject other directions and choose the Southeast direction which is considered average than the South and West Direction for the staircase. Moreover, do you know that while entering the house if you face stairs right front of you that is also considered a Vastu Defect?
Disadvantages of south-facing house
In case if you do not follow the Vastu principles in the South facing houses then you may have to face Financial Crises. It happens when you built an underground water tank or bore well in the Southeast, South, or Southwest direction. This also can be the reason for bad luck and misfortune if any cut or extension exists in the Southwest and the southeast direction.
